The Race Directors decision is final

No wash riding of rescue craft or boats not in the race, or accepting outside assistance failure to comply will result in disqualification

The Ocean Ski Series organisers take the safety and wellbeing of every competitor very seriously and because of this duty of care have chosen to implement the following rule for all six rounds of the Ocean Ski Series.

PFDs and leg leashes are compulsory for all ocean ski series races.

No competitor will be allowed to compete without an approved PFD or leg leash

The minimum requirement is a PFD type three and must comply by Australian and Overseas standards.

There will be scrutineers checking all competitors prior to the start to every race - if the competitor does not comply they will be disqualified from the race.

Competitors in the King of the Harbour event must qualify through one event in the Ocean Ski Series or provide evidence of competing in a similar endurance series. Proof of race completion of similar endurance series to be shown to race director on the day of the event.
